Oh and great work by the way. To help support I will subscribe to your YouTube channel! Thanks again

Do you have any instructions at all? I ordered all the parts and started printing. Most seems pretty easy but what do you do to mount the wheels? I am going to try to run it off one 120 amp esc for each side.

Thanks so much for being interested in my rc bobcat!!!!
I have not made any instructions (besides the awesome video) I think you will find it pretty easy, but of course you can just ask me if you have any problems.
As for the wheels the motors have an m6 shaft and i used an adapter from banggood that converts it into a 12mm hex (this is the standard for 1/10 rc car tires.
Because the bobcat is pretty heavy i also designed the wheels so they would not be squished. I just realized that you could fill the tires with something tho, because lets face it plastic tires aren't ideal.
as for the adapter here is the link..!!!!!

Good luck with your new build and i would love to see some pictures!!!!!!
This is part of a school project and this would help my community aspect!!!!!

I'm so glad I found it! Thanks for the link. I'll keep you updated. So far im on the 3rd tire on one printer and the other has completed the 2 arms and in proccess of the arm brace. Lots to go yet.

Hallo könnten sie bitte ein material Liste oder Stück Liste hochladen und können sie die dadein für Fusion 360 hochladen damit man was bearbeiten kann denn ich würte gerne von reifen auf Ketten umrüsten

Mfg aus Deutschland

Sorry for a late reply mate!!!
there is a parts list in the description!!!!!
and i have attached the fusion file
it is a mes but i think you will make sense of it!!!
good luck and have fun with the rc'ing !!!

Guys, the slashes in the project name are not being sanitized by thingiverse. When their Web service goes to reference the file the '//' are not being escaped so it fails.

  • Change the project name
  • Thingiverse: this is very unsecure / buggy code

Thanks for this information mate,
I got rid of the // and hopefully that fixes the problem
It hasn't yet because the button still looks for the // but hopefully it will soon.

download link not working maybe thingiverse problem ? great job iv been working on my own version for the last 6 months but its still in work almost done looks like its about the same size. greetings form fairbanks alaska thumbs up keep up the good work

I havent tried to download it because i already have the files :)
but your's looks awesome mate!!!!! ive been working on mine for ages to!!!!
ill be interested to see how yours performs against mine/ and what you use to make it work,
it looks like you have limit switches with the linear actuators, so they dont destroy themselves?
will you put the files on thingiverse when its done? because ill totaly build it!!!!
greetings from Australia!!!! you keep up the great work to!!!!
hopefully thingiverse fixes this problem!

ya i designed my own linear actuator it will lift about 20 lbs of lead with no problem. i found the trick to downloading your files!!!! you go to the file tab under the pic and click on them individually and they download just fine it just won't download as a bulk file do you have a good email i could send you some pics and video

Yeah sure my email is corinkersten@gmail.com
that sounds awesome i'm glad you got a hold of the files!!!
I found out you cant have // in the title weird, but fixed anyway!!

hey the file you shared on fusion is not editable its just the basic design could you share/ copy your full project files its ok if there a mess

I have this link!!!!!!

I hope that is what you want, i've not done i before!

hey i added you to my fusion if you could copy your files to this folder that would be awesome thumbs up i shared you my linear actuator on fusion360

yeah sorry i thought you meant the links in the description and they worked when i tried them,
but i hadn't tried the download button and yes that didn't work,
the title had // in it, weird but i got rid of them so it should work now!!!
