As promised I am working on another project of yours, this time it's the cannon. Since I am printing all equally coloured parts at once, I would like to check with you how many basic 6-exit tiles are needed. The description mentions one, but I think I see 2 in the assembly? One on top of each platform.
Thanks by the way for this nice model, I am looking forward to gain some serious height with this system.

Hi! It's so cool to know another cannon is about to be ready to shoot marbles to the sky! :)
I only mention one 6 exit tile because the only mandatory one is the one in the middle of the assembly. The tile on the top can be a stock 3-exit one from the original sets, since the "hat" piece will fit into those as well!
Let me know if you need more info, and please post your make once it's done, I am very curious!

Ah that makes sense! No further info needed at the moment :-)
I used orange filament as a replacement for the grey parts. Everything else will have the colours as per the model ;-)
Not sure when this will be ready, but for sure I will post my make - so stay tuned.

They look great in orange!
It'll be awesome to see the assembled cannon :)
I am in the meantime starting to think about a new fun part... As a little teaser I'll just anticipate its name.... "Guillotine"! ;)

With such a name you know we will be expecting something quite spectacular ;-)
Sounds good, keep up the good work!

Printing marble guides and barrel now, in black PLA - but this night's timeslot is reserved for a pink Hello Kitty storage box as both son and daughter have their wishes :-D

Hahahahah sounds fair.... I must tell you I won't ever EVER design hello kitty things.... ;)
A word of advice, when you assemble the marble guides be careful while inserting them in their slots in the cannon entrance. They need to be pushed all the way in, but they are thin and frail, and if one breaks inside the hole, it is a pain to get it out (experience talking here...)

Thanks Alex - your parts rock!
It's fun to print, and even more fun to play with

Hi Tim! Thank you, it's always great to see my projects appreciated!
It would be awesome to see your Make of the cannon, if you decide to post it :)
