This is an LED cover for the Owlet Smart Sock base station. The base station has two light settings; literal "lighthouse" and "dim but annoying pulse".
If you are a sensitive sleeper this cover will help shield the "dim but annoying pulse" setting to something more manageable without sacrificing immediate visibility.
Solidworks source files included, as well as "split" (for small print beds) and full STL.
Anycubic 405nm Resin
In order to create this design I first measured the top profile of the Owlet Smart Sock base station.
These measurements include:
- The full diameter of the top
- The height of the LED diffuser ring
- The "thickness" of the LED diffuser ring (toward inner diameter)
- The sloped offset of the top concave on the LED diffuser ring
Using these dimensions I extruded a circular profile, which you can find and modify as necessary in the included Solidworks part file.
Note: This includes a complete ring for printing as well as the ring split into halfs — the split was necessary for this design to fit in my Anycubic Photon printer.
