Stefan!

Great YouTube Channel and Design!!! Is there any chance that you might re-design this for the Ender 3??? I have used pyr0ball's design found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3030379 but the silicone seems a bit thick and doesn't have enough clearance to fit between the block and a shroud I have right above it. I like your design since it is so clean looking and looks super easy to de-mold which is a real bonus!!! A remix for the Ender 3/CR-10 would be super appreciated and I could bump some $$ your way via Paypal. I just started with Fusion360 as a hobbyist (when I can find the time) and haven't quite gotten to the level your at. I've done some basic designs but only in Tinkercad.

Thanks In Advance!!!

PS--I did order the Smooth-On high temp silicone from Amazon and it seems to work very well!!!

Hey Stefan,

in the video you said that you also printed one sock for the volcano hotend. Are those files also available?

I printed and molded this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3015676
Closed most of the holes with tape, though.

Silicone Sock Mold for E3D old style Volcano or clone

Hey Stefan! I've been following your channel for a long time and thought i could help you improve this design a bit. I've made quite a few silicone sock molds for different heat blocks, and found that adding a "sprue" or a channel for excess air/water to escape from corners and tight spots helps greatly with consistency of the mold. Also, having silicone covering the majority of the nozzle helps with keeping it cleaner and prevents filaments like PETG from getting scooped up as much

have a look at my version (fusion 360 factory file is included) https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3728005

Great idea and great design. I haven't tried this yet but it will definitely be cheaper than buying them. Plus you can make them the color that you want!

I made one with a different design! it was because you can't find them in my country!

Love your videos and designs. Keep up the great work Stefan.

I was just about to make something similar. Can't pull apart the last one I made. Thanks :)
