SUGAR IS FLAMMABLE AND PRODUCERS TOXIC GASSES !!!

Did you already try my mixture ? At temperatures around 110 ° sugar does not even caramelize. My print bed remains clear and does not get even yellowish. So if it would become toxic at these temperatures, caramel would not be eatable ?!

it trips my smoke alarm
i print with products that use bed temps up to 240 c
aluminium heat beds dont work
more robust metals used

It still comes in contact with the hot filament at 200°+. Caramelizing starts at around 140° - I don't know about any toxicity, but I'd be cautious with it. It may work well, but to me it doesn't sound like a good idea.

I can tell you from experience that even after removing the parts the sugar layer is still white. I would either be careful with hair spray. Explosive gases unnown ingredients and all vaporized in the air you breathe. So I decide to still use my mixture.
