Ever since i got my 3D printer, i've always wanted to make a compressed air engine, but always gave up on modeling side. Before i got my 3D printer i made V8 out of mostly paper and cardboard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yt6scGW0p0

Yours looks perfect, im printing it right now!

Wow, what a machine!) Looks great!
Shorter pipes could be an improvement I think - each cycle the air must be pressurized not only in the cylinder, but in the whole pipe as well.

This is incredible! Really like the rotary intake valve idea :)

Just a question - seems from the 3D diagram that you have 3 cylinders configured to run but it only seems to show a nitrile glove diaphragm in one of them - is that intentional (i.e. two of the cylinders are non-functional dummy cylinders) or should there be a glove in each one?

Thanks!) All of them should have gloves. Just was lazy to model all 3 of them (they're in different positions, can't be simply copied)).
Yeah, it all started with that valve, really proud of it - it's pressed to the surface just by the pressure in the valve chamber).

Yes yes - totally AWESOME ! ! !

I love the potential

Thanks! Tested it with the tap water running through - didn't work very well, but didn't break either).
Seems that it should withstand a higher pressure. The tap to 6mm pipe connector is there in the package.
