Now I am just printing it :-)

Do you have a link of the LED (maybe Aliexpress)?
Can I just use common glue to fix it?

Anycubic Mega-S Part Fan Duct Two-Sided (Remix)
by SmashD

Hey! The LED is just an ordinary 12V one, single segment of a 5m strip. It's connected parallel with the hot end fan (the right one). Mine had adhesive on the back, which was only semi tacky on mine, so I've added a small slot to put the LED strip piece into, it did not fall down since. There are only 3 or 4 LED in one segment on my version so the additional power needed is perfectly fine. Stock Mega-S runs that fan at only 9V anyway. Don't get nervous when the LED don't light up instantly. Because they get the power off the fan socket they power on along with it.
Good luck with your print, hopefully everything fits!

Hey! Yes the issue with the voltage is known. But because I hat several problems with my heatbed I flashed Marlin and everything is fine - also with 12V support ;-)

Just 40 minutes left and my case is finish :-) Only the back side of the air duct is not soo nice but the rest ist perfectly printed now with 0.2.

Sorry for this many questions but shipping from China takes a lot of time so I have to order the right LED ;-)
There are diffrent versions available - number of LED per meter and also with diffrent width.
But all of them have a type number ...
Maybe you can have a quick look here?

Thanks in advance :-)

I had 2835 white laying around, 60/m , those should fit, although every single LED strip I've used was a bit different ;)
Don't know about the amount you're planning to order, but waiting probably weeks for the strip for the presumably low saving... maybe you want to order from Amazon so you're getting it faster?

Hi, 2835 is what I like to know - thanks! Before I found your housing I already printed an other one and ordered needed stuff from Aliexpress - new plug for Nuctua fan that I do not need to cut the original one and also camera for octoprint, cable, ... so I have to wait for the other suff - no matter :-) I just ordered 5m for 1,60€ - on Amazon I did not found anything less than 15€.

15? Wow. Last time I ordered 5m were 5€ including shipping. Quite lower par Strips with CRI 80+ or sth. but for stuff like this still perfectly fine...

Looks pretty interesting, thanks for sharing!
