Just printed this today, have to say bravo for the design! This goes together an absolute dream. Thank you!!

Thank you, I appreciate it.

Post a make, that way other people can see it as well.

How do you put the cord through the support on the extruder?

NVM I figured it out.

Novice printer and my first real print on my new Ender-3 - turned out great! Thanks!

Wow, great printing, that looks lit. Welcome to 3D printing world, I wish you great prints, if you need anything let me know.

Best cable chain around. Made it for my CR10S Pro and for the Ender 3.

Thank you, I appreciate it.

I need to say it now!
You have designed by far the best 3d printed cable chain i have ever seen....
I have now been using it for more than 200-300 hours and i could not think of a better result.
I did had some trouble putting it on with the upgraded extruder parts, but i did managed to squeeze and bolt it down in the right place...
Thank you very much for posting this, ill be sure to post a make soon!

have a nice day :)

Thank you I appreciate it, I put a lot of time to design this drag chain, can't wait to see your print. Have a great week :D

Hi.

I have started to print this chain in stages. The hot end unit fits my Ender 3 Pro very well, snapping into place firmly. This afternoon I printed the extruder end. Problem - I have an alluminium extruder and the spring retaining screw (domed head) prevented the unit from fitting. Simple job - I replaced the screw with a full head screw placed on the spring side and then tightened up to the chain unit afeter I had screwed it into the stepper mount. Great job, nice to have a printed part with a hole that does not need bodging!

Now all I need to do is print the chain links and clips. I will post a made when I have done.

That's a fine solution, I made for a perfect fit in the original extruder but, another day I was thinking about this aluminum extruder, I don't own one to take some measurements to make an exclusive one.

When you post a make let me see how you fix it.

I'm slowly printing up the chain links and clips (a few at a time between other jobs - on and off the Ender) and they links are the best ever! Will post up as requested when I have fitted everything).

fits perfekt on ender 3 pro , great work!!!!

Nice, thank you. Post a make, let me see :)

Drag Chain - Cable Chain - Ender 3

Yeah, I'm going to make for the other axis as well.

Hi. I am just starting to look at chains for my Ender 3 Pro and this looks great. I was going to use a chain for the cables up to the extruded and like the attachment that loops round the stepper ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3566939 ). Your pictures do not show the rear - any idea of how it might link up?

Ender 3 extruder mount for cable chain

That looks like I could adapt the other end to match into it. I will give it a try after I’ve printed the other chains - I have started on the bed wiring. Thanks a lot.
