Thanks for the great design!

I think the design of the track has changed slightly from the version you designed against, as it didn't fit for me.

I took your design and updated it to fit the new one. It's quite a tight fit but works for me - attached in case you want to update your thing ;)

Hi. Could you please tell me what bolts you have designed this around? I have a few m2.5 nuts and bolts and the nut recess seems correct for that although I need a longer bolt. The 12 needed for the case seem odd unless the idea is to use long ones with nuts and pass them all the way through . M3 seems too large and m2.5 too small. Thanks very much, John.

Dear ea69,

thanks for the friendly feedback. The inner diameter of mine "smallest" spool is roughly 47.5mm. I thought its good to go somehwat smaller, hence I choose 42mm for mine adapter.

Next big item is to mount 5 sets of your rewinder into mine ikea double-stack - something like this here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3683888

Once you have the update out I will print a fresh one to see if mine box still fits onto the latest revision

thanks

christian

Double Stack IKEA LACK Enclosure V1 (works w/ MMU2s)

Christian.....the counterweight box is a great idea. I'm certain others will print and use ti as well. Thank you for taking the time to design it.

The adapter appears to reduce down to 42mm. Is that the diameter of the hub you need to support, or is it slightly larger?

There will be a major update to my thing later today, but both of you additions should still be compatible without changes.
