I got some very sloppy drawings at first, i ended up gluing the bottom of that "spring" to the main base to hold it straight but also allow it to bend up and down ever so slightly. It works perfectly now. My recommendation would be have the bottom piece be attached to the main body rather than being such a large spring.

Mhm strange, with the previous version that had the spring even weaker I didn't have any problems, did you use a pen that fits tight ? The pen itself prevents the spring from moving too much sideways, if you could send a picture it would be good ^-^.

Will post a make soon, once the drawing is near completion so that it can be a good little advertisement for you! But It works perfectly after gluing the bottom of the spring. As for the pen, it fit perfectly and i just so happened to have a screw and nut that fit absolutely perfectly!

It's strange tho that it moves so much, maybe you are pressing the tip of the pen? The first ever iteration of the model worked perfectly fine the first time, I'll wait for the "make" to see how it turns out. Also did you use my cura profile or made your own?

Will this work with the hero me gen 3?

Yes, I made it exactly for that fan duct, it should work, but it's still in testing so something might be wrong, in case just tell me if you have any problems, but it should work without issues

Thank you very much for sharing your design, it is really appreciated.

Can you add a section into your readme about the "workflow" you adopt for generating the gcode for the "plotter mode"?

I'm going to share the cura profile and all the other details later, for now i Just added the model.
I'm still testing out some things for the profile itself and prefer to have it perfect before sharing it. I also need to add a X offset so the printer draws in the middle.

Great, thank you again!

Ok i added everything, now it should be "complete" ^-^
