This is a small, light weight light that can be attached to any molle compatible backpack. It uses a cr2032 battery and a small smd led.
For the electronic circuit you will just need four components: a led, a switch, a cr2032 battery and a battery holder.
The led is a small smd led, it works just fine with the 3 volts from the battery and no limiting current resistor is needed.
For the switch I used this one, cut the metals tabs on the side and bend the legs a little, it should snap fit in place.
The battery holder was removed from an old PC motherboard. It should be glued on the top of the model. But before this solder two wires to its terminals, there is a space underneat where you can run the wires through.
Once you have the switch and the battery holder in place solder one of the led terminals to the terminal in the left side of the switch, then one of the wires from the battery to the other terminal of the led and the other wire from the battery holder to the center terminal of the switch, remember to check the polarity on the led.
For keeping the lid in place use two M3 screw (8mm long) and two M3 nuts.
