It says in the description, "The holes in the hilt and cap are the size of a paperclip", but as far as I can see in thingiview, one of the caps has holes, but the hilt doesn't.

edit: Never mind, I was looking at the wrong file. Thingiverse hasn't rendered the hilt with holes yet.

Great idea. Now it should be printable as vase mode.
With 0.4mm nozzle, 0.8mm extrusion width and 0.3mm layer height this should give perfect result in so time :-)

I don't think these blade sections will print in vase mode. They are hollow. You need a solid object to print a vase from, or it'll mess up.

Sliced it in PrusaSlicer and it looks good in the preview.

can you still collapse this and make it all go back in the handle, like the original? or are the blade pieces forever there?

It works like the original. I added a photo of it still collapsing into the hilt like the original.
