This is currently a work in progress. Except for the pieces that mount to straight sections, everything is designed to be mounted on shoulder pieces. If there is interest, I will add for mounting direct to the corners. Otherwise I will add as I need them for my track.
These can be pre-assembled except for the guard rail holder and installed in one piece. Once in place, the guard rail holder can be installed which pins the assembly to the track piece. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to ask. I try to get back to everyone in a timely fashion.
Things to be added:
direct attachment to corners
pit lane and transitions
Fencing for above guard rail in corners.
If you have any other ideas please let me know. If you make this please post it! I would love to see it.

My track is currently located in the upstairs of my garage, so it sees a lot of temperature changes. Because of this the regular printed guard rail supports that get screwed down to the wood wouldn't work for me. So I designed a system that mounts directly to the corner shoulders and the uprights are adjustable. I was having problems with snapping the stock uprights or breaking out the sides of the shoulder pieces. The carrera guard rail would also typically break when the stock upright would break. I also have a 180 degree corner with a 1/4 straight in the middle of the corner. As murphies law would have it, this is where the cars would always wreck and break the guard rail since a stock upright could not be mounted there. With having kids racing on the track frequently, this was getting expensive.
I started out cutting my own guard rail and fitting it into the stock upright clips. Unfortunately the material I was using was slightly thicker than the original, it would hold but wasn't quite right. So that is what started me designing my own guard rail system.
