just printed, fits perfect, thank you

Thanks for the feedback.

Hi, thanks for the feed back. i have uploaded a new .stl.
hope it fits.

Thank you, that's nice. As a temp solution I cut both ends and put it in a position where it fits the tube.
As you see on the pic, the center of my tube is 23mm from the right edge of the red carrier

Thank you for the files. I printed the 3rd one … stock for my stock-Printer. It does not fit. Filament tube holder is 8mm too far right in your design. Could you share a CAD file ? Preferably Freecad readable. Thank you

If you post a photo with a ruler at center to center I can adjust the model to suit.
8mm seems like a lot. I didn’t think there was that much offset between the stock hot end and the MS

I’m running a Micro Swiss all metal hot end. I will pull out the original hot end and draw up one to suit.

Thank you very much!
I should have seen from the pic that it was not the original hotend.

New file is up for stock hot end, hopefully it should line up. I had to make a bit of a guess as to the position of the bowden tube, any feed back welcome.

This is what I call FAST! Thank you very much. I'll get back ASAP.

Is your hotend modified? My bowden tube does not align with the V4.
My bowden and hot end are a little bit more to the right.

Nice design by the way. I will wait for the V5.

I have modified my CR-10s Pro for the "Hero Me" cooler assembly. The mod has a "cable guide" pretty far to the right of the original cooler.
I have attached a picture of my installation. The "cable guide" is 17mm to the right of the bowden tube. In the picture, you can see my current installation of your part. I had to cut off both ends off the part with a small saw so that I could position it in the correct place. Any chance that you could create a version of your cable keeper for this configuration? There are apparently quite a few people that have migrated to this cooler configuration.
Thanks,

Hi, i have uploaded a cable guide that hopeful lines up.
let me know how you get on.

I have attached a photo of the new guide installed. It is quite usable now. However I would move the bowden tube guide over the the right about 1mm and the cable guide over to the right about 2mm. There is a slight misalignment on both.
Thanks,

V2 is up and hopefully lines up .

No worries I moved it exactly 17mm. I’m on holidays now but I will adjust it when I get back.
I will let you know when I uploaded the updated file.

Spacing is now perfect. Thanks for making the changes. Would you consider a version with the cable channel at a different angle? On the original cr-10s pro, the cable is mounted to the print head at pretty much a vertical position. Your current version brings the cable to a horizontal position. This makes the cable "droop" more and the little clip on the bowden tube does not work as well trying to keep the cable away from the bed. If you create a version that changes the cable channel from wrapping the cable from the current 90 degree position to a 45 (or less) degree position.

Hi, 45 degrees version is up. let me know what you think.

Thanks for the feedback, I can modify cable angle. Current version works well for me and gives good clearance at max height prints.
Will let you know when I upload updated version.
