Hello! I am loving this BD-1 I have printed almost all the smaller parts and they look wonderful, however I started printing the main head and I am running into a problem the print stops at this point every time... I have tried printing it twice and it stops at the same spot I have even tried re-installing the file on the SD card and no luck. What could be the problem? I really want to finish printing it. Thanks!

Have you looked at the preview from your slicer?

Thanks, I finally found the problem I had a bad SD card I tried another and it's printing fine now, over 50% completed as of now!

Have you looked at the preview from your slicer?

thanks for updating it..appreciate it..
i opened it meshmixed and it let me take it apart..so now i can print it in smaller but fuller pieces..

this is awesome and as as am paid your be getting a tip off me ... now can anyone let me know, what size do I print this off for a 1:1 scale on a ender 3 ?

I think if you print it at a 100% scale it is a bit bigger than it should be.. As i said i didn't have exact measurements so i only estimated the size.. Unfortunatley i can't tell you what exact scale is the right one :/

Man u r awesome!! U r my god!
now i can make Cal's cosplay :) when i pint BD-1 i give photo :)

THX :) <3

THX for the nice Files.
Whats the Function of the HIP ?

To connect the legs to the body :P I just made it an extra part because i thought it would print easier that way ;)

Thanks so much. first thing I thought when I saw it is I want one LOL. im going to make some changes by added servos and lights and what not so ill upload my files once I'm done. Just have a couple exams to pass first lol

OMG I was modelling this but you nailed it, so I'm going to stop right now lol. If you print it without scale is the "real size" right? Are you planning to making improvements or you can print it perfectlly right now? AWESOME

yea..id love to get this in less parts..so i can print it in little as possible..i want to make it 1/6th scale...so trying to print each part that small is a bit tricky...like maybe you could piece the head back together, and the legs....if not..no worries...it's very cool either way..
thanks for your hard work...

Could we trouble you for an assembled reference STL?

Amazing work! I would like to invite u to the FB group BD1 - Builders Club. We are collecting a lot of data there. Would be nice!

Thanks man! But i deleted my FB account a long time ago.. :P I uploaded the original fusion360 file for you and your group, so you can improve it as much as you want :) Good look building that little rascal ;)

Thank you very much!!! i own you a beer :D
Will put your name at credits session :D

Are u planning to add moviment to the droid?

I have literally zero experience in robots and electronics.. So someone else has to do that.. All i can do is to provide my original files.. ;)

gonna make a pass at 85% scale so it fits on my old wanhao i3

This is awesome! Maybe I can use it as a prop for my Cal Kestis cosplay

This is really good, I think you almost nailed the actual size based on an image and video found on twitter

The box underneath is a "Lifetime" cooler from which you can get some measurements from to confirm. Don't suppose you would update these files with a version 2?? Just hoping. Thanks. Again good job on what you already did.

Hopefully i will have time for that.. if i do, i will make a more accurate version when i have more good reference..

Not sure what Thingiverse is doing at the moment but when I click on Download All Files it just takes me to the "Thing Files" page...

I see what you mean.. But I have the same issue with other things.. Seems to be a problem with the website not the files.. :/
But you can download each piece on its own by clicking on it..

Oh yeah I've no doubt it is the web site that's the issue, I just don't want to download each individual file so i'll wait until they fix it... :)

Nice design though!

Just this morning I was saying how I couldn't wait to get a hold of a BD-1 model, so pumped!
Thank you!!
