Overhead spoolholder for Flashforge Finder & Inventor II
- Refined design, slim structure, minimal spool friction.
All parts printable on small printbeds like the Flashforge Finder and Inventor II. Just need a few drops of glue to fasten raiser legs to the main structure. The spoolholder stays firmly in place on top of the printer with no "rocking back and forth". No rubbing against the extruder belts. The axle has slots for the original FlashForge 600gr filament spools (center opening 20mm), and the Universal Clas Ohlson's 1kg filament spools(center opening 52.8mm) - using the provided adapter rings. Spools are kept nicely centered in the rack. The rack can easily accomodate spools up to 80mm wide. You can easily adapt the setup for other spool dimmensions by mixing up the adapter rings.
Main Unit: 0.25 res, 20% infill
Raiser : 0.25 res, 10% infill
19mm Axle: 0.12 res, 15% infill
Adapter Rings: 0.25 res, 100% infill
- Recomended printsettings is also noted in each STL-filename
Print the risers lying flat, and rotated 45 degrees, to fit diagonally on the printbed. Print the main unit standing up.

Credits to Wobbley69, which made an adapter (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3631339) for my old spoolholder, I incorporated some pieces of this adapter into the new design of slim adapter rings.
Main Unit: 0.25, Raiser: 0.25, 19mm-Axle: 0.12, Adapter Rings: 0.25
Main Unit: 20%, 19mm-Axle: 15%, Adapter Rings: 100%
Print the riser legs rotated 45 degrees to fit on the Fidner printbed. Print the main unit standing up.
