Wait, auto eject?  What did I miss?

How are the parts ejected? I can't see any mechanism in the photo.

I have seen ultimakers "eject" parts at the 3d printing event in eindhoven.
Ejecting is pushing the printed object out by hitting it with the nozzle. At first glance this seems like a bad idea for the nozzle but it works for the ulitmaker people.

Actually it's not using the nozzle, but the fanduct to push the print of the platform.
Here is a video where you can how a print is ejected and falls in the catch bin: https://vimeo.com/54961589https://vimeo.com/54961589

I guess this only works for small objects? I normally use a light hammer to remove objects from my print bed.

That video is hilarious. I don't know where the robot went but it sure didn't land in any catchbin :-)
Careful when printing ninja robots.
