printed in PLA, .2mm. had to cut the ends open with a knife. the center part seems was also stuck and had to be sliced separate. now it's fine, but could you give me any advice for future reference? could the ends be from retraction? thanks

I got the same result.

Our tomatoes just left the greenhouse. This stuff looks perfect. It takes me however far more time to print them, but who cares. I can print 10 of them during 1 night. Thanks a lot.

Tried it out love the design.

In practical terms I am wondering if it can be improved? In windy conditions it tends to open. Would that be less of a challenge if the spring was slightly stronger and/or you would move the openings to the side? As the openings are placed now the force pulling the clip opens it as well..?

^^ Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. The funny thing is, I got exactly the same ideas to improve the clip. The latest version already has a stronger spring. I guess I'll change the position of the openings.

Why don't you have your STLs in the correct orientation and centered so that they're ready to print?

V2 obviously needs to be re-oriented, but V3 is upside down and some people might not notice that the spring is in mid-air and will print it as is.

Thank you for your advice. I have edited the part accordingly.

I personally printed it in PETG and CPE 100 HG.. both works fine.

I did ABS and it seems fine, see make.

Says PETG in the readme.txt file, but i will try PLA just for experiment.
