RJ4JP to 08-12-12 sinter bearing adapter.
Because the RJ4JP Igus linear bearing shrinks and becone loose over a time, I thought about a replacement with bronce sinter bearings. there are a lot of upgades already designed for any kind of machines using linear 8mm rails, but most of them are designed to use the original ball bearings or the replacements Igus RJ4JP-08-01.
With this Adapter you are able to use the, in my eyes better, bronce sinter bearings without changing the models. This will help you to change the bearing without a lot of Tryes to fit the new bearing and .... you can resume to original ball bearing or RJ4JP without printing every thing new.

The Material does not matter. I did use PLA, because it has a good stiffness and I know the correct parameter in measurement with my preferred Slicer used for my machine to get the best measured work items.
Before printing a collection, print one to be sure that the adapter fits tight.
You can widely customize the model using FreeCAD and the deployed freecad file.
There are different models as SLT and STEP exported.
All files where the filename contains "ClampingGap" does have a 15° clamping gap to clamp the bearing in the adapter by tightening the fixating stripper.
"Center" indicates, that the bearing will be positioned in the center of the adapter.
"RightLeft" indicates, that the bearing will be positioned at the ent of the adapter.
"Full" indicates, that there are no positioning stops. This adapter may be feed with 2 bronce sinter bearings, what I do not recommend.
But for any use case you can select to most meaning full and functional usefull adapter.
For Sinter bearings, You need an exact alignment of all components. If you print out parts that should fit together but have to be printed in different orientation, it can be that your printer produce models, that are slightly unaligned. Okay print in the same orientation and/or make an excelent calibration of the printer is the best to solve the issue. But sometimes you can/will not spend the time and waste of Prints that needs mor e thant 3h per item and ther are at leat 4 items to print...
This is the reason, why i added some excentric adapters where you can tune the position , just by twist the adapter. The name of the models contains the excentrict and therefore the maximum +/- calibration gap.
