Hi Texscalper!
high capacity capacitor change eliminate only inaccurate temperature sensing.

Absoluty yes. Z endstsop (and x and y) need small ceramic capacitors for endstop input ports.
Because long wires and high current stepper wires paralelly tracked on the powerchain.
need 3x100nF carmic condenser for eliminate EMI noise.
(c4, c6, c8 for microswitch endstop inputs)

Soldering parts is very small. Not easy, many parts are a small area.
Do it carefully.

best regards
Jozsef

I've got problems on my MKS Gen L v1.0 on temperature settings/reading and I think on Z Endstop too.. my bed will not stay leveled , while with original mainboard I never leveled it in 4 months...
I saw that on MKS Gen L v2.0 22uF is replaced by a 220uF cap..

Do you think I can do something for endstop readings?

Hi, I've got same problems with noisy 5v line and difficult temperature settings on hotend.
Is it ok to change just C11 on MKS gen L ? With this one : 1x 1000uF 6.3V LOW ESR ?

Thanks

Thanks for the guide & parts list. Got it working and holding within .2

Hi madmoonfish!
fixed the link

(weid noise is my cat and the closed door :-)

maybe enough only 22uF condenser change 1000uF. (black TEAPO)
Please try and report for me.

Hey I think I have the same issue. I can't see a 22uF cap on the data sheet, is it C17?

Hi CHARL13!
C11
see pictue.

Thanks njozef! I was looking at the wrong schematic after all.

Hi! I will try this as soon as i get the components. I have two MKS GEN L boards with the temp issue. The clone gen l board did not!
