Great design! Actually works better than expected! Haven't printed the other grinder plates yet though. When I printed the grinder top, the tolerance was too tight to fit into the cylinder part. I tried sanding it but it was too tedious to sand PLA. I ended up converting the STL, shaving off 0.6mm from the outer diameter of the grinder top, and re-printed it. The reduced diameter worked perfectly. I will add the adjusted part as a remix in case anyone else experiences this problem. I printed it originally at 0.15mm res.... maybe my printer precision isn't that great. Maker Select. Anyway, again, thanks for the share. I own an aluminum one that has teeth that were CNC milled. Looks pretty, but the spice is hard to remove from the teeth, and I have to shake the contents out onto the table. This one works SO much better!

Thanks for your kind words and for posting the remix of the top. For reference, the source files in FreeCAD call for the ID of the housing to be 67.6 mm and the OD of the blade part of the top to be 67.2 mm. This works fine on my Prusa i3 printed in PETG. The housing is right on according to my calipers and the top is a little small at 67.0 mm, so it actually feels a little loose. Anyway, glad you got it worked out and can now use the grinder!

Just made two of these, fantastic when you turn the flared side to face up. Is it possible for you to add an STL file for this grinder plate style?

It's done--check it out. I also added two completely new pieces which could be useful after the grinding is done.

Yes. I should be able to do this by the weekend.
