For more information see:
The ship hull and shape was built as accurately as possible to admiralty plans. The hull under the waterline was then removed and the upper parts were simplified in detail at the bow, thickened in the stern, windows exaggerated, and deck detail exaggerated. All this to be able to print out on an FDM 3d printer at 1:600 and 1:700 and then at smaller scales for Resin printers (1:900, 1:1200)
Designed for a range of games including Black Seas, Fighting Sail, Fire as She Bears, Kiss Me Hardy and more.
The photos show the first test print on an Ender 3 FDM printer at 1:700 scale. Note, I mistakenly excluded one of the catheads in the first print in the pictures but this has been corrected.
In the group photo the swan-class ship is on the far left to show scale against a 32 gun, 40 gun, 74 gun and 90 gun (2nd rate ship of the line), all at 1:700.
