Cool design! (pun somewhat intended) We love seeing things our customers make. We've found that flexible, friction fit heat sinks such as these are optimal because they get good contact & heat transfer without the use of a TIM. Great use of our Ice9 Flex material!

great concept, could get some crazy surface area and air flow. However, their site says it has the thermal conductivity of stainless steel which is pretty poor. There is a reason you dont see steel heatsinks. Would probably be better to print a mold for aluminium

You are absolutely right, but that isn't their market. Think of areas where this material can be used, mostly in injection molding, but also in FDM. Think along the lines of battery packs with integrated water and or air channels where the battery pack is made from this material.

do you have any cooling data? dose it conduct heat well?

I've not data on the heat-sink design and how that actually performs as a heat-sink. I have used supposition and experience to come up with what I expect is a suitable heat-sink design.
