An universal LEDs to be mounted on the pack. No need to solder the strips on the arms.
With the smallest version (2 x 24 COB leds) much better visible than any other configuration attached to arms. If you want to be super bright - go with 36 or 48 version.
For each flight just pick up a fresh pack and a set of given color.
Hassle free mounting - no need to put the straps thru loops.
Before final strap tightening, slide each one from both sides and then tighten.
Tested in this configuration and they need a lot of beating to give away.
Even if they get damaged - much easier to replace/repair/scrap than repair the arm mounted LEDs.
Powered from the balancer plug - additionally protects it from being cut during crashes.
Cheap! about $2 for one color.
Only con: they need to be powered from 12V - so either run them thru step down, or use 1st and 4th pin in the balancing plug - we run them that way. But don't worry - low power consumption will not cause the packs to go out of balance. I mean it will a bit - but you won't even feel it and the charger will nicely level all the cells back up.
Try it for yourself and feel the difference of led maintenance.
I got a set of 6 colors (red, green, yellow, pink, blue, white) for 6 pilots here: https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Promotion-1Pcs-White-T10-24-Smd-Cob-Led-Panel-Car-Auto-Interior-Reading-Map-Lamp-Bulb/1946246_32706864920.html
any TPU, NYLON, ABS, PLA
Print vertically, or horisontally - but trim the "wedge" that is suppose to go under the pack. The LEDs will hold. If you want a different COB to be attached re-draw this design or ask me and I will make a 36 and/or 48 COB version.
