Updated a new version that lets the threaded rod coupler go into the spindle mount, to get full movement on the Z axis. Also made the clamping part for the spindle a little bit longer to prevent movement in the holder.
Upgraded my 3018 CNC machine with a 500 watt 50mm spindle. And needed a new mount for it. As this motor is quite alot bigger, and longer, I decided to make a mount that lifts the spindle 10mm higher, not to loose work area :-)
All the stock hardware is used, like linear bearings and T8 nut. You also need 3 M4 bolts and nuts to tighten the spindle in the mount!
Working on a dust shoe to fit into this, so an updated version will be dropped soon for those who need that.
As this thing is higher at one side, it needs supports on that side, touching buildplate :-)
