Hi there! I'm currently doing a remix of another design, but one thing I noticed from other enclosure designs is the modularity of this thing is just superb! Take care which plugs you use though, since they are only rated for so much amperes and could be fried by the print bed for example. Would be really great if you could upload the Step files so anyone can make alterations :) And maybe put in some blank fronts for the front (since not everyone is using a huge touch screen or the small screen underneath it ;) ) or maybe do a front part for the standard LCD (12864 i think?). Anyways: Great job on your design!

Thanks for your comment! Agreed on the plugs, I use XT60 for power, as they can handle much more power than GX16. I will make a note on that!

I do have a blank front already, it uploaded as well :)
I will share the Step or F3D files at some point, just need that last part of left side to be done :)

Thanks a lot :) Anyways it's a really promising project IMO. We'll see how it develops. If you need ideas or people to help you design certain parts in F360 I would be more than happy to help! Have a great day!

any idea when this will be finished?

Well, I just need to get my self together and design the very last part :)
I don't see any major changes from here :)

I love your design and it is just what I was looking for as I want to move all the electronics out of the printer case. But I probably have to create a remix of it, because of a bigger PSU. Could you provide a stp file or if you created it with Fusion 360 maybe the source file? And another question, do you have a link which specific 7 inch Touchscreen did you use?

Hi - I've exported the f3d files. You can download them here: http://gofile.me/2Km8A/bYbwWWdVJ
Be aware that the link will only work for 3 weeks from now :)

Also "left side" still needs the last part, but it will make sense when you see it.

Thank you once again! Hopefully I will have some spare time next month to remix it to my needs, print it and upload it here ;)

Looking forward to see your remix :)

7" monitor: http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/1958036.pdf

I have created it in Fusion, however due to upgrades in both printer and PC, its kind of unavailable atm :)

Awesome thank you, ordered the display. Any news on the Fusion files?

Is the left panel the same as the right one?

No its not, it has not been fully designed yet. Some of it is just a mirror of right side though.

That Enclosure is awesome!! This is exactly what i´m looking for...
Can you upload the stl of the top part?

Thank you, great job :)

Thanks :)
I have uploaded the Top.stl file now..

Hi Mate

Thanks for this thing.

It's absolutely JUST what I was looking for.

Started printing this about an hour ago.

Will keep you posted and add some pictures later.

Thanks once again !

Also, i have changed the "back" part. If you have not printed that part yet, you should use the new one i have uploaded!

Thanks! Keep in mind it's still under development, and there are small adjustments to make. However, I've managed to print it myself.
Bottom part and back part should be glued together at the bottom.
