Slight problem with the code: If you increase the fudge_factor, the embossed disk on the top part becomes submerged beneath the top surface.

I printed the old version with fudge_factor 0.4, and it doesn't fit together. I'd say the internal threads in the bottom are too shallow.

Any recommendation what I could change so that a reprinted top will fit on my existing bottom part?

That one I can't help with much... I'm not even sure I did the threads right in the first place. I can say they're very tight to begin with.

Try to replace line 167 by this one:

projection (cut = true) rotate ([0, 90, 0]) translate([0,0,2]) core();

It will show a cut through the top. The thread does in fact have some irregularities ... almost looks as if there are two threads that are not quite aligned.

There are four threads to make this harder to remove accidentally. Three are at 120deg with one having an extra thread right next to it.
