Saw kaxorpie's design and checked out the kickstarter for the wooden ones. Wanted something smaller that we could print ourselves, and add our CATAN pieces too. We will add more Settlers of Catan hex pieces once we find our other games. These are designed to have 2 5x5x5 neodynium magnets superglued into each side. (12 magnets needed per hex).
We also printed the card tile for more cards, so they can be used with our other games too.
Also- loving the spell caster tile for our D&D sessions!
We are printing them on our Cetus3D. Will add images once they are all finished printing.
Designed this in Fusion 360.
Make sure you add felt to the inside of the dice-roller hex piece!
The caster tile is designed to be used with magnetic 3mm spheres.
edit: Upon printing we have found the caster tile is smaller than the others. have updated this to be the same size
edit: Upon printing we have found the caster tiles does not have big enough holes for the magnets. Have updated this to be the same size
The tile of shame will be updated to have a slightly smaller cut out inside hex - this doesn't bother us, but the walls are exactly 5mm and this shows the magnet on both sides.
Edit: The TileOfShame is now fixed
Uploaded: Hex tiles for initiative and battle round counting.
You will need all 5 pieces of the Turn Keeper tiles. Align the two hex pieces along the aligning marks provided. The Initiative tracker holds 12 trackers - use the numbers, or print a label to put on top - for every 1 full turn (all 12 trackers) - it changes the combat round tracker 1 turn. After 10 rounds (should you get that far) , you can add 3mm magnetic balls to the numbers and count on - for example, if you add a ball above the 1, and then you are on 2 - you are on round 12, and so on.
4/31 - updated to show a single all in one Catan file - merged the base pieces (roads, houses, cities) with ships. Left the others on here, in case, like us, you had originally printed some one else's base tile and just needed a ships tile.
