This is a big bubble wand. I’m calling this a remix of the bubble machine because it was inspired by and uses the bubble machine wand. I’m a little disappointed because it ended up being kind of a big heavy monstrosity, but I’m posting it anyway.
1/2" PVC conduit with 1/8" holes drilled at your desired interval
8 or 6 hole bubble wands (the 6 holer can be found in the parent thing)
PVC adapters for connecting the wand to the PVC. They have a stand-off for dipping the wand in a cookie tray.
The first step is to determine how big you want to make it. Then print the appropriate number of wands and PVC adapters.
IMPORTANT: The PVC adapters have a built in support that must be cut prior to sliding onto the PVC pipe. See attached picture.
Drill 1/8” holes in the PVC conduit with your desired spacing. I recommend some spacing between the wands (2nd pic). Use a long drawer as a jig for drawing a straight line on the PVC pipe. If your holes aren't straight, you have trouble dipping in the bubble tray.
When sliding adapters on, you may have to press the top of the adapter to force the lock pin into the hole in the PVC
Best when used with a big garage/barn fan.
