I challenged myself to create fake AirPods and a matching case to... I don't know... bamboozle my friends. I'm sure it will get a good laugh!
Remixed original AirPod 3D design on here and then created a case from scratch.
If you want, you can use a black or silver permanent marker to fill in different colors.
The long, empty columns for the long part of the AirPods do not require support, this can either be done by turning off bridge supports or by manually adding a "support blocker" in Slic3r PE or whatever slicer you have.
When the print has finished, remove any supports if necessary.
Creating the hinge
When the supports are removed, make sure your fake AirPods can fit into the holes. They should be oriented so that the part that is supposed to go directly into your ear (the largest black speaker part) is facing to the left or right and not to the front or back (when you are facing the container from the front).
Then, gently fold the top of the case onto the bottom half. All done!
