Shooting sticks based on the Viper Flex and other copies.
The top parts are made intentionally smaller than the inspiration.
Use with 11mm metal rods found in garden shops. The immer diameters of the holes are made to go around the green plastic, but since it is such a tight fit (no glue needed), I will design the next version with the plastic coating striped.
In my case, 2 rods of 170 cm and 2 of slightly less works great. Buy the 180 cm versions and try cutting a little of and fitting it, to check the height.
You need 6 M3 bolts and 6 nuts. Bolts needs to be 18 mm or more. Cut excess off and file the end flat or round.
Parts to print
You need to print 6 of the butts, 2 of the leg hinges and feet each, but only one of each top part.
The butts are fitted to the 4 ends of the short sticks, and to 2 of the long sticks.
The remaining open ends are pushed through the holes of the legs. Mine are sitting roughly 10 cm from the end of the sticks. The still open ends are fitted with the feet.
The two top parts (front and back) goes over the remaining open ends. The back part goes over the long sticks.
The clip is currently untested. It probably wont fit as it is now.
This is version 1.1. A few dimensions has been changed to better fit the garden sticks.
