Prusa Mk3 LCD cover for 4 inch Hyperpixel touchscreen

Looks great. Thanks for keeping my part alive!

Thanks for making and sharing it!

Hi! What settings did you use to achieve that rough surface finish on the build plate?

I use a powder coated, textured, print bed. There are 3rd party companies that make these textured print beds. Prusa sells their own, but it's back-ordered for a very long time. I bought this one on Amazon. It really makes for some fantastic surface finishes!

Sorry, maybe my question was not clear! I have the Prusa TXT sheet, I was asking you about print settings to achieve that even rough surface without seeing the lines. I have tried many times, and for lack of time I didn't find a setting that works!(I adjusted layer height and live Z but nothing)

You need to squash the heck out of your first layer. (Carefully of course) Note that if smushed enough you can even get no lines on smooth sheets but that's much trickier to achieve without waves/bubbles than textured.

Thanks for the hard work. For those with an MMU, here's an STL of the text inlay....

Printing now, will post a photo when done.

Thanks! I have an MMU that's waiting to be installed any day now :)

Is the cover in exact center of the buildplate? The picture looks about of center...

You may be right. I'll measure it and if it's off-center I'll update the files.

Any plans/ETA to update for the off-center? I like this version because it does not seem to require a height difference to the rubber feet.

I updated the files with a new version that fixes the centering issue. Printers shouldn't need taller feet. My printer still uses the feet that it came with.

Printed and can verify that it is off center. My adafruit 3.5 also didn't fit with the screen centered in the window so needed to cut a slot for it to fit perfectly. Other than that the print is great. Can you share the model file so I can remix and post?

I added updated versions of the model in Fusion360 and Step formats to the thing files, but they're here on this comment too.

Just got my screen in so this is perfect timing! How many perimeters do you recommend?

2 perimeters with a 0.6mm nozzle worked great for me.

Awesome thanks! Printing now
