hello,

can you take a picture of where you put the ferrite ring?

thanks!

I've placed it just next to the sensor. I used the servo lead and put it thru the ring 3 times. Then the ring was suspended using zip-tie to the extruder carriage. The long extension was then connected to the plug of the servo. I'll try to make a photo for you and attach here.

In which design system did you develop your version? Could you post the source files?
The fact is that for use in the Hypercube printer it is more convenient to use the sensor mount in the form of a cylinder, as in the original design of the brunofporto, and I would like to make a small modification...

I have access to NX. I can share/upload parasolid file.
If you need it now you can import the STL into the Sketchup and make simple modifications there - like trimming the "arms" and adding a cylinder for your purpose. Or I can add this for you - just let me know the diameter and length of the cylinder? Should it be per original design?

Yes, as in the original design. I would be very grateful.

I think it is better to increase the length of the mounting cylinder by at least 10 mm - for those who use the higher hotend "E3D Volcano".
And if it turns out to be too long for someone, it is always easier to cut than lengthen. :)

Thank you very much!

Very nice!! Thank you. Can you please show how to add the spring and ring you mention?

I will make couple images/fotos to show how to do it.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing!

Great work!!!! You made the ruler seems too big! :D

You have made a great design. I've only added my 3 cents :)
