I give you the resonating chamber of the Velociraptor.
Torn from their extinct skull and turned into a music instrument for our amusement.
Celebrate this victory by learning to play the Jurassic Park theme on the desecrated remains of this once-mighty Raptor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMZHXnVyvXM
Here is the scene from the movie when the resonating chamber is first introduced: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfllzwFay_U
I printed this on my "rapid prototyper" with supports set set to "on build plate only" and a support overhang threshold of 28 degrees. I found it helpful to rotate the object around the x-axis by 7 degrees (in the negative direction in slic3r) and cut off the bottom 1.8mm so there is a bit of a flat surface to sit on.

TIP: If a plastic ocarina suddenly starts to sound different and you are pretty sure that it isn't you doing it, blow the excess moisture out of the airway with a quick hard puff of air.
THIS IS NOT TUNED. The ones that I have printed actually work much better than I had expected. It is relatively easy to blow-out the high note, though. The Meshmixer file is included so you can modify it yourself.
IF YOU WANT TO DO A BETTER JOB THAN I DID (very likely possible and highly encouraged), you can get the original Blender files from Lacrivilho's version of Karuuv's Ocarina (Karuuv has a ton of Blender versions of the original available as well), and get the STL file for RadioNuclei95's AMAZING Resonating Chamber and remix it yourself. Please let me know if you get an improved version made, I would love to print it and try it. I'm not a musician so I don't have what it takes to get this spit-polished. Enjoy!!
