How to get lower frequency absorbtion?

Have you test your sample? Which frequency range it will affect? I'm also interesting in this topic, and try to 3D printing 1 sample then use impedance tube to test. Any suggestion? Thanks

I scaled my down a bit. to about 60% of original to shorten print time. mine was blocking range of ~680hz

Have you try other dimensions? 50% for example, to check how it effect on frequency?

no haven't tried. print times too long. I only made it out of curiosity.

If you did it according the white paper, the frequency that should get filtered is 460hz, and it’s higher resonance modes.

They posted no dimensions. Just theory behind it. Also density of material will affect refraction properties. I have no idea what material they used. I etimated size based on 4" pipe they had in the video.

I hope it works for you. Just remember it blocks very narrow range. Do freq sweep with increments of 10 hz or even 5 to find that range.
