maybe it’s because the top isn’t as tall as it should be due to supports. this also shows the damage it did to the outer wrapping

Sorry to hear that is happening. I have been using my for about 3 months without issue. I wanted to use it before I posted the case to be sure there wasn't any issues. I do leave material choice up to the end user so I would think using a conductive filament would be not a great choice for anything trying to isolate electronics.

I find it strange you could be having a shorting issues because I specially designed it to not touch both ends are the same time. There is a tolerance so the battery has a small amount of play to avoid such situations and if the supports were used as described in the post the bridging shouldn't sag to change the tolerance. It might be worth checking your X,Y,Z, calibration?
