This is probably an oddly specific part, but it came in super handy for my shop and it may come in handy for yours. We have a 12" Bosch gliding chop saw GCM12SD that we connect to our dust collector (AKA shopvac) with the Rigid brand car cleaning accessory hose kit.
The problem: The friction fit of the hose didn't really hold well in the saw. If the hose was bumped, it would fall out.
The solution: an adapter that mounts to the hose and uses the posts on the dust port to keep the hose from falling off. Simple!
This a 3 part print. Two halves clamp around the hose end, and the 3rd part screws into the clamp giving you a latching end on the hose. See pictures if I've confused you :)
This might work with other vacuum hoses of the size, and on other saws. Can't confirm any of that...I just know it works for my setup. :)
Maker Geek Raptor Series PLA
I used default slicer settings to prototype and it seems to work, but I would recommend more perimeters and/or a heftier infill.
The parts are designed to print upright and not as shown in the rendered images.
Some assembly required
The assembly holes are designed for #4 plastic tapping screws that I got from McMaster-Carr. Admittedly, the screws that I'm using to hold the two halves together are a tad too long, but they work.
Assemble the two halves of the clamp around the end of the hose, and install the screws on each side of the clamps. Slide the twist lock part over the end and fasten with four screws. If done right (with the right sized screws) the adapter should be loose and be able to swivel around the hose.
