MakerBot Print is our newest print-prepration software, which supports native CAD files and STL assemblies,
allows you to interact with all your printers via the Cloud, and many other exciting new features.
This is a special spool holder, especially it is ideal for enclosures. It has 2 ball bearings, witch allows the spool to spin flowlessly, preventing feeder motor to preheat and allow precise extrusion. In the bottom of the frame there are 3 holes for strong neodymium magnets. So if You glue with a 3M tape 3 magnets to Your enclosure, You can easyly attach or remove the spool holder. It can be useful especially, when You have more printers. To attach it, You can also use M5 screws, if You don´t like the magnetic solution. There is also a version without the ball bearings, if You prefer to be Your filament a little bit less loose. Both versions are easy to print.
A: If You would like to print the ball bearing version, than print these files:
A_B Frame.stl (Supports needed)
A BEARING NEEDED Filament holder print 2x.stl (No need for supports, print 2x)
A BEARING NEEDED bearing housing print 2x.stl (No need for supports, print 2x)
B: If You would like to print the version without bearings, then print these files:
A_B Frame.stl (Support needed)
B NO bearing Filament holder assembled.stl (Supports and brim needed)
OR (Depends on Your printer)
B NO bearing Filament holder print 2x.stl (No supports needed, print 2x)
I hope You enjoy my design. If You like it, you can donate me the price of a coffee (I drink the cheaper one) :) Thanks a lot.
