UPDATE: I reduced the model for the regular snake so the file is smaller (and will load faster into your slicer), and reuploaded it as "LONGBOI_v3. I also modified the model so that you can choose to print it coiled instead of straight (LONGBOI_Coiled_v2) as well as a much longer version if you desire an even longer snake (EXTRALONGBOI_Coiled_v3). I also printed all of the models to ensure the joints still work after modification and the reducing didn't affect the look of the final product. Enjoy!
I really liked the joints on the articulated lizard, and couldn't find a snake with similar joints, so I decided to make my own!
I personally used a raft because I have issues with articulated prints wanting to pop off my bed (and for ease of mind since I printed all of them overnight), but it does not require one to print successfully
I replaced the feet sections with body sections, as well as made the body a uniform thickness until the taper at the tail. Meshmixer works quite well for these articulated models, because you can use the "separate shells" function to manipulate each piece individually
