would you by any chance be able to make a latch hook for these that can handle larger yarn? so far these can only really handle sock yarns but I'd be eternally grateful if i could find hooks for at least a worsted weight yarn. Are you familiar with flatbed knitting machines? What about designing a garter bar that you can remove and slide around the prongs? that would make decreasing doable. Just a thought. Could be very useful.

I haven't tried 3d printed needles (latch hooks) for these machines. i purchased my needles from Angora Valley https://www.angoravalley.com/sockmachines/accessories.html#Needles
They do sell 10 gauge needles, which do fit these cylinders. I had a customization option for needle size in the cylinder model, but don't remember whether it got commented out in one of my revisions. I have a new revision ready to post that I'll get to in the next day or so, and I'll make sure that needle size is available. If you print a cylinder with fewer slots and use larger needles, it should knit with larger yarns (probably not with anything bulky, but larger than sock yarn anyway).

I know what this is... are you planning on making the other sizes?

If by "other sizes" you mean number of slots, it's already customizable (use the Customizer tool to select the number of slots)
If you mean for other machines, I'd be happy to, but only have the 1924 Gearhart for comparison at the moment.
If you mean something else, please elaborate.
