You forgot about the need to lubricate the rubbing parts. But there is a solution: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3854521

Decorative caps on the tie rods of the Delta Anycubic Predator printer to protect against dirt and to lubricate the ball friction assembly.

Good thank you, but I'm thinking to switch to magnetic balls ... new update, almost ready. Are you sure that your caps does not limitate the rods movments ?

I bought the springs, but the hooks on the new design are too big for the loops to fit around.

Open the rings of the springs with the help of a tweezers then you will put it in

Hi everybody,
for my part I preferred to print elastics in filaflex in place of springs ! it makes less noise than the springs and it works very well see better!

Very good. Did you posted yout thing ? Can be useful to other peolple. ;-)

This is a great idea. Can't thank you enough.

On my Predator the spring holders still move around. If possible could you make them 2-3mm longer.

Do you have a link for the diffuser too?

This support is now compatible with the new fan duct that is higher then the original one (link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2134289353555625/permalink/2244632429187983/?hc_location=ufi ), but it's also compatible with the stock one.

Rubber bands work with this print just as well as springs if like me anyone else is having bother sourcing them.

Thanks for you comments. Rubber bands can also be used instead of springs. :-)

I am not sure I understand what the addition of this mod actually does. Do you have an example of a before and after that shows what it fixes?

Thanks!

Yes of course. I've just added the photos regarding the differences of the same model printed before the mod and after the mod. The same model at the same speed: 90mm/s

Can you share the shop link of the spring please.

Added measures and photo of the springs.

Ciao Nibbles, I don't have a store where to buy it. I've found a case with about 200 springs of various measures on Amazon. I've payed it about 10euros
