Hi, I sliced several of your design with Silmplify 3D and I got a strange bug : the small stripes on the top are not fully defined, and if I print them I will have the same results : see attached to get an idea.
Any idea why this behavior ? Which slicer are you using ?
Thanks for your work.

Hi, this should be problem of many slicers. I am using Slic3r v.1.3.0. I am pretty sure "Detect thin walls" solve this problem. If your software does not have similar setting, I found very interesting results by setting little bit different nozzle size in slicer (for example nozzle 0.4mm with 0.36 or 0.44mm setting should do the magic too exactly with this kind of problem).
By the way, I made this FreeCad designs after trying of print few downloaded tracks with sad results. Exactly as Makak007 wrote.

Hi, I did found a thin wall option in my slicer and it worked - thanks !

Glad I could help :-)

I am using PrusaSlicer (latest version 2.1.0) and I opened countless different versions of Duplo track models which almost all of them had in common a "mysterious" disappearance of the traction enhancement stripes. Then I came across an advice to switch on a function called "Detect thin walls" in Print Settings. Since then all stripes appear as they are supposed to. No mysterious disappearances any more. Look for similar setting in your slicer :-) it should do the magic!

I found it in my slicer : in Simplify3D it's in Advanced Settings > Advanced > Thin Wall Behavior > select External Thin Wall : Allow Single extrusion walls. Thanks

on one of the pictures I can see 3 different versions of the bottom side (flat, with holes and original DUPLO bricks compatible). I downloaded the files but can not find the versions with bottom compatible with original Duplo bricks... Am I missing something?

Hi, I made only 2 versions, with simply holes, and flat. The third version on the first picture are genuine LEGO Duplo tracks to compare. I tried to make version looks like the original tracks, but my output was very hard to print. It needs special bridging and support, especially curved track was not printable. Parts with simply holes are usable with original Duplo and with my printed bricks. I tested them with 0.4 and 0.5 nozzle 0.20-0.25mm layer height.

Aha... understood. And thanks for your prompt reply. I will deal with the flat version I guess.
