i've been trying to edit this file a bit to fit my lamp, but all the softwares i've tried keep crashing.
what software have you used to edit these lamps? And what kind of specs does your pc have?

I am using 3D builder, 8 GB RAM.

I would like to make the moon with light grey PLA. Do I have to change the wall thickness, to get the right lightning? Or are there other setting I have to change?

Not tried, depends on how many light can pass through. If not too much, I just think it is not suitable to use this material to make a lamp.

I will try it.Because if not lit, I think lite grey would be a better colour for the moon. But that is personal.

My maximum print range is 18cm. . .
If I shrink, I won't be able to install the IKEA screw socket.
Can you help me with an 18CM version?

Hi and thanks for this awesome model :)
I want to model a custom screw-in thingy.
Could you tell me the dimensions for the 38mm threads?

After a few tries I was able to generate a gcode for my ender 3 and oh boy 640Mb of gcode and a stimate time of 4 days...

did you print in vase mode?

The thickness is variate, you cannot print it in vase mode.

What bulbs are you using? I'm having the hardest time finding something that both physically fits and is UL listed.

you may find bulb picture in the instructables page.

How many perimeters?

you can leave it default

What bulb color is best?

both white and warm light are ok, depends on your room requirements.

What filament and settings did you use to get success?

very nice, how much watt does your led light bulb have?

Did you printed it with a 0.4 nozzle?
And Layer height also was 0.4?
