The original Hypercube Evolution cooling fan shroud was blowing directly on my heating block and performed poorly. I decided to remix the original file and make some improvements. This version puts a BLTouch 18.25mm behind the nozzle on an
adjustable mount to support either the E3D V6 or the Volcano. All heatserts have been removed(!) and have been replaced with trapped nuts. The original fan mount was converted over to a support for the bowden tube and greatly improved print quality. And perhaps most noticeable of all, this mount accepts two radial fans which improved bridging quite a bit.
I used PETG with 25% infill for everything. Supports are needed on the retainer and extruder mount but only from the print bed and not internally.
The fan ducts were designed to not require support and are in the orientation to print them in (flat rectangle near the exhaust hole)
This assembly is very compact and is a tight fit. It may not work with modified motor or Z rod mounts.
If you built the dual Z motor version with four Z rods, you must home Y and then X. The Z rod mounts protrude about 5mm past the side of the X and Y motors and so the fan ducts will collide with them. If you keep this limitation in mind, you do not have to change your end stops or bed dimensions. If you must home X before Y, I suggest modding the X axis endstops to trigger sooner.
The left fan requires a ~3mm cut into the forward mounting hole to prevent it from catching the motor mount.
