Did you perform load (and overload) tests of the blades? It's safe?

Hi Madcrokodile
Safe? What's that?
At this stage I have not quite got onto the more rigour testing I was intending to do. Design of an arduino controlled rig is just about done. I will be conducting these tests with safety goggles and a nice cardboard ring guard around them.
Having said that, the blades I have printed so far are nylon and printed on an industrial laser sinter print. While they are quite thin they are tough and have quite a bit of flex. Hopefully not so much flex that they deform under load. I'm sure I'll find out when I get onto proper tests.
I intend to share the results of any tests on my website - www.techmonkeybusiness.com, when I have something to share.

So in answer to your question. No tests of that sort have been undertaken.
