I started building a small green house on my balcony recently and realized I needed a hinge to connect the frame for the lid to the rest of the green house. It is pretty small and didn't need a beefy hinge, but I also wanted something narrower. Most of the things I saw on here were more like door hinges. They didn't go very deep and were only 1 screw hole deep.
So I figured I'd play with Fusion 360 for a little while and see what I get. This is what I came up with. Dimensions are 30mm wide by about 100mm total length. It worked perfect for the narrow boards on my frame. I'm guessing I won't need all 8 screw holes to hold it in place. I could probably drop down to 2 and 2, maybe that is the next version.
Because I'm not that great with Fusion 360, it is exported as two STLs. but it is really easy to line them up in a slicer program. I printed them lying flat without supports or anything and all I had to do was cut a bit away on the bottom and they popped right open. Someone mentioned that you could print it all on its side. This might also be a way to gain good results. Let me know if you tried that in the comments.
