Nice! Although I do see one issue, you see, the original LEGO blasters for the minifigs put the stud on the opposite side of the megaphone. Is it possible to modify the design to but the stud on the right way?

There are a lot of variations of the Space Blaster out there. I made the Lego Dimensions Benny version of the Space Blaster:

Great project! I'm looking to build one from scratch that plays 'laser' sounds the randomly plays a silly sound effect (like a MOO or MEOW). I have it all working now using an Adafruit trinket and a little MP3 flash module, speaker and a 9v battery.

I like the button you're using. The Elenco directions list it as "Switch Push Button 540001" but I can't find any more about it. Any chance someone out there has more details so I can find that switch from another vendor that fits the print?

And here I thought stepping on the small ones hurt....step on that one...youch!

It looks great though, and I can't wait to print one, bit of nostalgia for me.

Haha! Thanks :)

great toy, where did you get your soldering iron from please? Also those wire strippers look great any info would be gratefully received thanks.

Thanks! Links to the soldering iron and screwdriver are in the YouTube video description

Is there a version with an easily replaceable battery? This one seems like it could be awkward after awhile.

Sorry not at the moment. However I bet the sounds will drive you crazy long before the battery runs out haha

Anyone know where i can find the electrics kit in the UK for this? asking for my mates 5 year old...... definitley not for me... ;)

Haha! I bought mine from amazon. At least it shipped to Norway so I assume they ship to UK as well?

ah great thank you
