Mine came loose within the first month... I print ABS from time to time so I needed a more heatproof solution. I used copper wire, wrapped around 2 opposite corners and twisted tight. works very well, even at 110c bed temps

Maybe you'd want to call it "heatbed bracket" to help people recognize more quickly what this is for :-)

How long did your Ultrabase last before it became unglued? I've had mine for about a year now.

Only for about two months. I think part of the problem is that the glue seems to have spread unevenly on mine. However it seems to be a fairly common problem, and it shouldn't be surprising. Heating and cooling a glued part over and over again isn't the best of design ideas.

Thanks, that makes perfect sense!

Thinking about it, did you print with high-ish bed temperatures? I go up to 60 °C or maybe 65 °C at the most, printing PLA exclusively.

With the exception of a few PETG prints with 80°C, I mostly stick to 60°C and PLA as well.

Btw: just today I saw a photo of a newer ultrabase: it seems anycubic dropped the idea of using glue and now also ships with brackets.

Cointinous Improvement :-)

Guess I've just been lucky my Ultrabase held up so well!
