Did you also shorten the clip that mounts to the base at the other end so it aligns with the new position of this bracket? My bed matches this design, but I have not seen both ends done.

Using the cork for insulation? I also noticed from you image that you have the bed set fairly high in its leveling adjustment. If you set it lower it will compress the springs more and make the bed stiffer. You will have to move the limit switch to do it though. I had to cut off the factory nub that positions the limit switch.
I cannot say for certain this improves prints, but it seems like a stiffer bed is better.

Hey Milgaco ... nope, I did not modify the other end. I think it works fine anyway ... ;) The cable chain is long enough to compensate this offset.

Yes ... it's cork for insulation - order by Banggood. And the springs are tight enough ... anyway ... I don't use any limit switch anymore ;D Got installed a BLtouch and works great!

edit Forgot ... I have installed the stiff yellow springs.

This solved my problem! Thanks!

@ford_jake @Im_The_Decoy Thanks for your replies ... the original bracket bothered me, so I modified it and it fits wonderfully now. Anyway big thanks to johnniewhiskey for the original cable chain!

You are my hero, thank you for this!! Both of mine dont fit right, this will solve it!
