I don't have a Microswiss hotend so I can't comment there.

hello can you tell me what are the x and y offsets for the 4020 stockfan and the stock sensor and can i use this mod with the microswiss hotend??

mistake installing this since it does not work with tiny machines firmware

I’m running this mod with the Tony Machines firmware. You need to adjust the nozzle offsets and rebuild the firmware. Please see the blog post link in the description.

I understand what needs to be done & I have done this type of arduino editing before on all my previous machines however I cannot for the life of me figure out how to edit tiny machines firmware, I have searched, read your how to page & all I see is the mention of the offsets

It’s all there in the guide. I mention how awesome the Tiny Machines firmware is, there is a section called “Tiny Machines Firmware flashing” which explains my steps take. Please review the link again.

I was wondering if this would work with a Micro Swiss Hotend? I just installed one on my CR10S Pro, and I'm guessing it will work, just wasn't sure of the nozzle placement on the parts cooling fan. The stock fan I'm using now appears to work ok, so I'm assuming that the parts cooling fan shroud in this design will work also? Just wanted to see if anyone has experienced this design using a Micro Swiss Hotend. Thanks.

Gday mate, would the parts you have printed in black be safe to print with Pla? or will they still get to hot?

I followed your build guide including the step for offsetting the probe. I managed to find tiny machines firmware using a comment to your build guide. I updated this piece of code in the configuration.h file because it was the closest thing that I could find to the parameter you said to change.

I set the x offset to -44 and uploaded and nothing changed. The crashed into the bed because the inductive sensor is offset too much off the bed still. I feel like changing that parameter didn’t do anything. I’m not sure if it has to do with this line of code #if ENABLED(ABL_BLTOUCH) for the BLtouch or what. I messed around defining my own parameters for that if statement and still no luck with the offset. Any suggestions would be great.

Edit: I found crealities original source code for marlin. I am going to try replacing the config file in tiny machines source files with the config from creality. If that doesn’t work I’ll just go back to the stock creality firmware.

Update: I was in fact installing it backwards. I'll leave my pictures up so that it may help someone avoid this issue in the future.

I think you have it oriented upside down?

The threaded posts are for mounting the hotend not the Hero Me base. The Hero Me base mounts to where the old induction sensor used to be mounted. does that make sense? Perhaps view the attached photo might clear it up.

Unless I'm missing something but that what it looks like from the uploaded photos.

Yes this build is ONLY for use with the stock fan and ABL sensor.

how should I print the duct ? standing up with supports ?

I recommend printing it standing up with supports extending only from the bed as it is impossible to remove internal supports

BlTouch support from mediaman is compatible with it ?

100% compatibility as that portion is unchanged. In fact mediaman has rolled all these changes into the main page so you can use all his parts now to be sure!

What parts do I need to take then? Because there are several.

I haven't installed a BL Touch but I assume you would need the following from here:

  • BLTouch_mount.stl
  • BLTouch_wing_for_Single_5015_Duct_gen2.stl

Sure, But those are still the correct filenames I was referring too. Again, I have not installed a BLTouch.
